Ministries

At IBC, our ministries exist to equip and encourage the church to function as a family (Mark 3:35; John 17:20-22, Ephesians 2:14-19, and Titus 2:1-5) as we spur one another on to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24). We believe we are called by God to love and serve those around us because of the image of God that each human being bears, having been created in God’s likeness. Therefore, every human being has worth and, as Christ has taught us, we seek to serve others first rather than being served, to love and pray for those who are enemies of the Church, to seek mercy and the good of those who’s burdens are heavy, and to be the voice of those who are voiceless, marginalized, and in need.

We seek to accomplish all of this through our Church-related ministries and our Community-minded ministries that focus internally on the body of believers at IBC and outward in our local community and beyond to the ends of the Earth.
